Your Needs. Our Mission.
Accessibility: As it refers to residential real estate, this is an individual set of requirements in a home that allow a person, people or families with some type of mobility challenges to easily and safely and navigate around a home. This is both for people who live in or who are visiting the home. These requirements cover the design of products, devices, services, or environments and are as individual as we all are.
Universal Design: This is the term used in the design of buildings, products or environments to make them accessible to all people, regardless of age, disability, or other factors. With Universal Design, everyone can can enjoy the same home. And that home will be there for them even when their needs change.
Adaptability & Visitability: The term Adaptability means the ability to modify a home to meet the accessibility requirements to safely and easily navigate a home.
Visitability means that the home that doesn’t necessarily offer livable options so much as space to safely visit the owner of the home.
Age-in-Place: Most adults would prefer to age in place—that is, remain in their home of choice as long as possible. Modifications can often be made to bring home to Age-in-Place standards. Typically, homes without stairs or with one-level living plans are more friendly for Age-in-Place living.
